A beautiful summer day, the 19th June 2016, was a memorable trip to the organic farm “Tue Vien”. Our group consisted of 40 people. Most of them were children, who are supported by our organization “Hope for Tomorrow”.
The administrator of the organic farm welcomed us very friendly and the tour began in a warm and cheerful atmosphere. The children saw numerous plants and learned about organic farming.
In the form of a small competition some vegetables were harvested by children. The children had great enthusiasm and joy in this activity.
This was followed by a second program of the day: A visit to the meditation center “Sung Phuc”. The children met the resident monks and learned a lot about meditation and Buddhism.Then there was for everyone a vegetarian lunch, that tasted great.
After lunch, the group returned to the organic farm “Tue Vien” and began the afternoon program with many games and various activities.
Among other things, the children could participate in the manufacturing of biological mosquito repellent milk from lemon grass and in the compilation of tea beverages from different plants and flowers.
In the late afternoon, a very beautiful and unforgettable day was coming to an end for everyone.
